The first of its kind to be organized by any other North Indian State Police, Uttarakhand Police is proud to host the second edition of the Devbhoomi Cyber Hackathon in 2022.
This mega-coding as well as the mega-inventing event is intended to harness the creativity and expertise of students, visionaries, and young entrepreneurs to offer innovative and sustainable solutions for some of the daunting challenges faced on a day-to-day basis, leading toward our mission of Smart Policing.
The need for Hackathon for finding technological solutions has now and then been stressed by Prime Minister Modi.
As cybercrime continues to grow exponentially, cybercriminals are innovating with the advancement of technology. At the same time, Uttarakhand Police remains committed to arresting such criminals.
Thus, Uttarakhand Police with utmost zeal and a commitment to meeting the goal of Smart policing conducted the first successful Devbhoomi Cyber Hackathon last year.
The event saw the participation of roughly 332 teams across India and set the benchmark for many other states to take inspiration.
With the increasing reliance on technology, cybersecurity has become an even bigger concern. From zoom class raids to scam emails, all of us have experienced what it feels like to be vulnerable to these faceless criminals who exploit the gaps in cybersecurity. Hence a platform is being provided to showcase your big idea to change “CyberSpace”. A platform to let the hidden stars of tomorrow shine. A place to connect, grow and innovate with like-minded individuals. A place to forge bonds and code over coffee and ideas.

The event is being organized with support from IIT Roorkee (Knowledge Partner), Mahindra (Industrial Partner), iHUB DivyaSampark, Sys Tools, NetForChoice Solution, DOON MIRROR (E-Media Partner), Red FM (Radio Partner).
